- mild-moderate oesophagitis s/s resolved
- after 4-8 weeks treatment for GORD if symptoms controlled
- after 2-12 weeks treatment for peptic ulcer disease, functional/empirically treated dyspepsia
- stress ulcer prophylaxis in critical care - on leaving ICU
- asymptomatic, uncomplicated H pylori infection on completing 2/52 course
