  2. adenosine 6mg, then if unsuccessful:
  3. adenosine 12mg, then if unsuccessful:
  4. adenosine 18mg
  5. if still ineffective, verapamil/beta blockade, then if unsuccessful:
  6. synchronous DCCV 70-120J biphasic

paeds algo (APLS)

  1. vagal manoeuvre
  2. vascular access possible?
    1. adenosine 100 mcg/kg, wait 2 mins, then if unsuccessful:
    2. adenosine 200mcg/kg, wait 2 mins, then if unsuccessful:
    3. adenosine 300mcg/kg
  3. synchronous DCCV 1J/kg → 2J/kg if unsuccessful
