Epidemiology
Clinical presentation Kanavel's signs:
- Pain on passive extension
- Percussion tenderness (tenderness over entire length of flexor tendon sheath)
- Symmetric finger swelling along tendon sheath
- Finger held in flexion at rest
Pathogenesis
Diagnostic investigations Likely will have bloods at some point, but clinical diagnosis should be possible
X-ray - foreign body in finger
Management IV abx
Would warrant I+D

Kanavel's signs
