Forearm arteries
radial artery
- branch of radial artery (at neck of radius)
- passes deep to brachioradialis
- medial to radial nerve in middle 1/3 of forearm
- lies medial to flexor carpi radialis tendon, anterior to pronator quadratus
- lies on base of Anatomical snuffbox
ulnar artery
- branch of brachial artery
- passes deep to pronator teres
- passes through forearm between flexor carpi ulnaris and flexor digitorum profundus
- enters wrist superficial to flexor retinaculum, lateral to pisiform
- gives rise to common interosseous artery
