- Tibialis anterior - Anterior compartment of leg (deep fibular nerve)
- Tibialis posterior - Posterior leg (tibial nerve)
eversion - superficial peroneal nerve
- Peroneus longus, brevis, tertius - Lateral leg (superficial fibular nerve)
dorsiflexion - deep peroneal nerve
- tibialis anterior (deep fibular nerve)
- extensor hallucis longus (deep fibular nerve)
- extensor digitorum longus (deep fibular nerve)
- peroneus tertius (deep fibular nerve)
plantarflexion (S1, 2) - tibial nerve + superficial peroneal
- tibialis posterior (tibial nerve)
- peroneus longus (superficial peroneal nerve)
flexion of toes - tibial nerve
- flexor digitorum longus (tibial nerve)
- flexor hallucis longus (tibial nerve)
- flexor digitorum brevis (medial plantar - br. tibial nerve)
- abductor hallucis (medial plantar - br. tibial nerve)
- Lumbricals of foot (tibial nerve branches - medial and lateral plantar nerves)
