  2. Inferior alveolar (cutaneous)
  3. Auriculotemporal (cutaneous)
  4. Lingual

  • passes posteriorly around middle meningeal artery
  • passes between tensor veli palatini and the upper head of the lateral pterygoid muscle

  • secretomotor supply to Parotid gland
  • sensory supply to
    • anterior of ear
