- fundus - sits in liver in midclavicular line
- body - adjacent to transverse colon, superior aspect of duodenum
- neck - Hartmann's pouch = mucosal fold where gallstones may get lodged
the neighbourhood
- anterior: liver, anterior abdo wall
- posterior: transverse colon, D1, D2
- inferior: biliary tree, D2-4
