MARACs = multiagency meeting
- Like strategy meetings for child protection
- IDVA advocates for victim - victims do not attend usually as multiple cases might be discussed
emergency department role/responsibilities
- a dept representative should attend MARACs
- contact details of coordinator and IDVA should be available to all ED staff
